Help Us Help Our Neighbors
Become a Volunteer with St. Vincent de Paul – Coram
The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Coram is a small group with a big heart—and we are always looking for compassionate volunteers to help serve neighbors in need within our local community.
Our volunteers provide practical help, dignity, and hope to individuals and families facing difficult times. Whether someone needs food assistance, help paying a utility bill, or simply someone to listen, your time and kindness can make a meaningful difference.
Ways You Can Help
Volunteers can assist in a variety of ways, including:
Helping with food distribution and donations
Supporting neighbors through outreach and referrals
Assisting with organization, phone calls, or paperwork
Offering a listening ear and compassionate presence
No special skills are required—just a willingness to help and a caring heart.
Who Can Volunteer?
Adults, retirees, and working professionals
High school or college students seeking service hours
Individuals or families looking to give back together
We welcome volunteers for ongoing roles or occasional help, based on your availability.
Why Volunteer?
When you volunteer with St. Vincent de Paul, you are:
Serving your own local community
Making a real, direct impact
Becoming part of a mission rooted in compassion and respect
“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” — St. Vincent de Paul
